| Cream for Vim | |
| License: Open Source Added: 2005.11.10 (2 years ago) Cream for Vim website | Description: Cream is a free and easy-to-use configuration of the powerful and famous Vim text editor for both Microsoft Windows and GNU/Linux. |
| Comment: Cream brings some much needed usabilty enhancements to Vim, especially for people with a strong Microsoft background. Simultaneously it, also appeals to 'nix users because it just makes things, well, easy. Most preciously, in my opinion, it manages to do this while keeping the full strength and power of the traditional vi(m) just a keystroke away! (see 'Expert Mode') The mailng list and primary author are also very responsive to support queries and feature suggestions. If a given new idea is deemed not inline with Cream's goals you are told so straight out, not left twisting in the wind wondering if anywaybody even read the thing. | |

| Comment: A sleak program which eases editing files in various formats (especially useful when constructing web sites). Unfortunately, it is unregularly updated (closed source, one-man-team). | |
